Watch Haaland Pull Off A Wonderful Volley As He Trains Feigning An Armstring Injure

Erling Haaland is just as sharp in training as he is in matches it seems.

Whether it’s for Borussia Dortmund or on international duty with Norway, Haaland is deadly in front of goal as a video from a training session with the national team shows.

Haaland had the ball thrown up to his left peg

And his effort unsurprisingly flew into the top corner

The 20-year-old crashed in a left-footed volley from the edge of the box, which almost broke the net.

However, Dortmund and Norway fans will have been worried for a fleeting moment as the striker appeared to be carrying a limp after executing the perfect volley.

But Haaland showed he likes to have a joke as much as the next person as he giggled away at feigning the hamstring injury.

For a moment it looked like Haaland has sustained an injury

But it turns out he was faking the injury!

Haaland is spearheading an exciting batch of Norwegian stars, which also has the likes of Arsenal loanee Martin Odegaard among their ranks.

Norway, who haven’t featured in a World Cup since 1998, were in action in their 2022 qualifier against Montenegro, which they won 1-0. Surprisingly it wasn’t Haaland who scored but strike partner Alexander Sorloth instead.

Exciting things are happening for Haaland at club level too, with Dortmund through to the Champions League quarter-finals.

Haaland has been a big part of the Bundesliga side’s progress, scoring 49 goals in as many appearances for them.

Next stop Manchester City?

He’s been tipped to join Dortmund’s next European opponents, Manchester City, especially after the news that Sergio Aguero will be leaving at the end of his contract this summer.

Haaland has been described as a player that’s built for the Premier League and is the son of former City player, Alfe-Inge Haaland.
